Why should we hunt today? Many indigenous populations around the globe still rely on this essential survival skill and, although this may seem unrelated to bread, hunting is still considered an environmentally friendly practice, contrasting with the constant availability of highly processed foods and the diminishing connection with naturally sourced ingredients that we can find in supermarkets.
Staged as a pop-up shooting range, where participants use a crossbow to shoot bread-sticks at bread targets, the project questions whether an hunter-gatherer lifestyle could still be sustainable today, contrasting with our current shelf-based food habits.
